Birthday cake
To celebrate our daughters 13th birthday this week, I thought I’d introduce you to the idea of edible flowers which I’ve used as birthday cake decorations. There are quite a few to choose from that are easy to grow at home and make a lovely addition to salads as well as deserts, or even teas, either at home or in the professional kitchen if you want to bring your own produce into your client offerings. Try violets, marigolds, nasturtiums, borage, rose, primrose, pansies, fennel and lavender begin.
