A lovely Victorian cast iron air vent on a hospital building in Lichfield. I love the time and thought that went into Victorian details – functional but something you’re quite happy to put in at eye level because it’s also beautiful. It’s always a joy to go to a Victorian hospital building that’s still in use today so much more visually appealing, a lot more interesting things to look at than modern buildings.
