When you’ve been here so long you become part of the furniture! 

I do like it when I find trees or shrubs that have grown around something that man put beside it. It’s like an expression of defiance at having had something put in its space. This hawthorn almost looks like it’s grinning like the cheshire cat who got the cream...mwahahaha.

I found a spade engulfed by a tree once!
