A spring flowering tree for you this week – magnolia. There are a wealth of magnolias to choose from so they are suitable for any sized garden, and have different colour options too. They are older than bees but have evolved to attract them to spread their pollen – another early food source for pollinators and they’re beautiful, so no excuse not to include one in a design! Yay! And they look spectacular against a stormy spring sky.
